Rub-a-Dub! Rastafarian bar in KYOTO!

On Sunday evening we went to this place called Rub-a-Dub in downtown Kyoto. Yumi and Lena had both heard of this little bar and we decided to go since we didn't really have much else to do. We went there with Yumi, Lena and Noora, by subway since it's way too far too bike :P We walked around a bit and tried to find the place. When we finally found it we had to walk into a basement, and when we entered it immidiatly felt like we were on some kind of Island, it had this really nice Jamaica scene going on. It was very small and cosy, there was one bar, 2 tables and one couch. We sat down and had some cocktails, which were pretty good, but the japanese hardly put alcohol in these things I think, but they tasted great anyway! I first had a Banana Daiquiry, and after that a frozen 'mongo' (which they mean mango with I believe :P) and peach cocktail, also pretty tasty! We chatted a bit, Lena found an aussie artist that did the murals of the place and we didn't really see her till the end of the evening :P Then there was another aussie couple we chatted with, pretty fun to see all these gajin in a bar in Japan xD
We had to head back pretty early since the last train was leaving pretty early (around 23:39 or something). We left the bar and sat down at the side of the Kamo river where an amazing Japanese streetartist was painting, I'll update about him in my next blog.
After that we headed home and all went to sleep xD
Here are some photos of the night!
