Hello everyone!
As some of you may know allready, the nominations for the GGA are up! And to my suprise

I found out that I was nominated, in 3 categories! I could not believe it since I don't feel like

I'm the best in anything or whatshowever! But you all have no idea how happy this made me,
I almost cried haha, can you believe what a baby I am? This means so much to me~!
I promise I will become better and improve on every single thing I have, this is a huge

motivation for me, I'm slowely regaining my first found love for Gyaru back! <3
But what I was even more happy about to see that HYPER was nominated in both categories!
Oh man I am so happy that our circle has been nominated, and I secretly hope that we will
win atleast 1 categorie, though competing against the other circles will be quite hard!
I want to thank everybody that nominated both me and HYPER, it is so extremely sweet
that you thought of us! I probably won't win any of the categories because I'm competing
against much better gals! And how could I ever compete against Charlotte in the hair category?

I really want to thank Lhouraii for making this all possible! It is amazing to see how much

about when it comes to the GGA, but really I don't see why because this is such a lovely idea!

Outfit Snap~

Just a small outfit snapshot of today! I decided to wear a 'lolita' outfit again, but it's more casual, just the way I like it ^^ The layers are very nice and warm though haha

Today I also wore this wig in public for the first time and people really loved it! They didn't even guess it was a wig so this surely makes me comfortable to wear it more often because it does make me feel like I look fabulous <3 I should definetly buy it in more colours! :D

New Tattoo!

Hii everyone!

I'm here with a really quick update about a new tattoo I got! ^^ For now it is just the outline since we ran out of time, but in a month I will have them coloured bright pink! I can't wait to show you the finished results, but I also couldn't wait to show you what I have right now ^^

Snowy Weather

Hii everyone!

I will once again apologize for the lack of updates, but it's the same old excuse, I am so terribly busy. I think this week all together I slept for 10 hours haha, because I've been working my ass of for school.

Today was actually quite a horrible day, it started snowing rather badly so all the public transport in the Netherlands was basically shut down, it took me 4 hours (!!) to go from my school to my work, which, if all wouldve gone well, would only take 1 hour. This included 2 hours of waiting in the freezing cold and 2 hours of standing handsfree in a packed bus where I couldn't move and had to stand the whole time trying to hold my luggage up, and I had to work directly after that ;n; but enough of the wining and self pity xD I will show you some pictures of the snow that brings our country down haha.

HYPER Gyaru gift swap meet!

Hii everyone!

I have found a little spot in my schedule to make a blogpost hihi, this will probably only get worse ^^" Buuuut! Yesterday we had the HYPER gift swap meet at my place! We almost had the whole circle complete! Unfortunatly two of the girls couldnt make it because of school u_u But I had so much fun! I feel blessed to have this great group of gals as friends and in the circle, I feel that together we make an amazing group and luckily we all share the same humour <3 Let me break down what a 'giftswap meet' for those who are not familiar with it and are currently thinking 'what is she taaaaalking about?' Basically we drew names and each gal would get another gal and would have to buy presents for her! ^^, Almost like christmas, but than for fun, because why do we need a holiday excuse to give eachother presents right? :D Eitherway, I shall spam photos now!

I'll start with my outfit so that that's over and done haha. I was really satisfied with my outfit! I made it the day before within an hour cause my time was limited but I think it turned out rather well! :)

The meet was so much fun! Everybody was extremely happy with the presents they got, I drew Charlie from 'the sorting hat' lol so I had it rather easy since I know her so well! :D We did a lot of talking, a lot of eating, a lot of laughing, and around 5 everyone was heading home since everybody lives in every corner of the country xD So Charlie, Velvetbat and me were left, we had some dinner, had a little rest and peace haha

We also made a small clip for the GGA's! But you will see that at the GGA's! :D (I wouldnt normally ask for this in any way, but I hope that if you would like you could nominate HYPER, I would love for my girls to get te recognition they deserve! <3)

I had a lot of fun and I can not wait till the next meeting! We probably have a photoshoot planned at the end of march, so lets look forward to that! <3

Tokyo!

Hii everyone!

Here is just a small picture spam post of my visit to Tokyo at the beginning of 2011, and I figured I never posted these pictures before! The reason Im posting them now is because I'm overly excited to go back again. Last friday Charlie came over, and we changed her blog layout! Check it out here :D And we talked a lot, and also about our plans to go to Tokyo this summer, we are planning on going in august and it all just seems to be more realistic now! I got a job now which will allow me to save up money for the trip, and if I graduatate correctly there will be nothing that will stop me from going <3

Small Eyemake-up tutorial!

Hii everyone~!

I want to thank everybody for your comments on my last post, they mean a lot too me! And I am sorry for letting you down regarding actually blogging, but like I have said before I am unfortunately busy, and it won't get any better because .. I got a job! I am really happy I finally found a job, I'll be working at a wok restaurant as a waitress. It won't give me heaps of money but every little bit helps for me to save up to go to Japan today!

So anyway back to the topic, I promised some of you to make a make-up tutorial on my 'newest' eyemake-up look and so I did! And as we all know the laws of nature, whenever you want to show something to someone it goes terribly wrong so the make-up looks a little sloppy but the general idea is there, so I hope you will like it :) I made it in pictures this time, I thought since it is an eyemake-up only tutorial it would be better understandable with pictures, since my videos wouldn't show as much detail as the pictures do. Feel free to repost or ask me any questions about it!

I didn't add the products I used in the tutorial, since they're usually not that interesting and very cheap, but for those who would like to know I'll add a list of used products here!

My Weightloss (+ Random 'outfit)

Hello everyone! <3

As some of you might have read, since the beginning of 2012 I have decided to lose some weight. Ever since I've gotten a few blog comments regarding some people being concerned, or wanting to know how I'm losing weight, and I want to thank you for the sweet comments and I would just like to set some things straight in one big post, even though it has only been 2 weeks, I'd like to tell people the why and how's of my weightloss ^^ I'm usually not one to get too personal when it comes to blog posts but I'd just like to chat you all up a bit, for those who don't want to hear my blabbing just go to the bottom of the post for a small outfit post haha.

The intentions of my weightloss
The number one intention of my weightloss is simple, to get more healthy. A few weeks back I went to the doctor because my back and knees were hurting so much that I could hardly walk my way through everyday life anymore. After running some tests, like xrays and bloodtests, everything came back 'negative' and the doctor said I was basically fine. BUT, he thought I was a bit too heavy and that I should exercise more. That is basically where it all started, I felt a bit down since exercising is not my favorite thing to do, and it just hurts my knees really bad when I get too active to the point where I can hardly stand up straight anymore. But the doctor said that if I don't want to walk around with knee replacements before my 40th, that I had to consider losing some weight and getting more active. Though, at that time (last year) I couldn't focus myself just yet, I was extremely busy with school and all sorts of other things and the stress just wouldnt let me be able to focus on anything else. Therefore I decided to mentally prepare myself to lose weight at the start of 2012.
Some have said to me that my current body looks 'fine', or 'great' and I want to thank you for those comments since it is really sweet, but 'technically' I really am overweight. Maybe it is because of the way I dress myself or the way I take photos, but people that know me in real life definetly know that I am a tad larger. And now comes the part where I feel a little self concious about, my current weight, my goal etc, but I really need to get it out of my system haha. At the start of 2012 I weighed A LOT, my highest mark was 78 kilos, which was probably also the cause of christmas foods and new years drinking (yes darlings, dont underestimate the power of alcohol, it'll grow on your hips in no time haha). Currently I weigh 74 kilos, and my current goal is to weight 60 kilos. Now all of these numbers probably don't say a lot without taking my height in consideration, but I am currently 165 cm small haha, so for a girl my size I weight a lot. My current BMI is 27.4, which indicates overweight. Once I have reached my goal of 60 I will have a BMI of 22, which is somewhere in the ideal zone ^^ If I am happy with my weight, weightloss and body before a bmi of 22 but am still within the marks of ideal, I'd probably stop there. If I'm not happy with the outcome at that time, I might lose just a little more, or rather, workout the parts of my body I'm not happy with at that time.
Ofcourse my weightloss will also have to do something with actually wanting to lose weight to slim down my body, but believe me when I say I wont overdo it. I'm a naturally curvy girl, and I love my curves so there is no way I could end up like a 'twig'. I'd love to reduce the size of my breast, but unfortunatly during actually losing weight my breast have shown to only increase on size, which I'm not too happy with, while giving you the numbers of my actual weight, I could just as well give you my measurements. Which currently stand on: 110 - 79 - 108. As you can see there is quite a gap between my chest and my waist, which makes it really hard for me to buy clothes, since there is a difference of almost 2 sizes, there are hardly any clothes that fit me nicely. So that is something I would like to get rid of as well.
Someone also asked me if it had to do with Gyaru Secrets, but this honestly doesn't affect me at all. Everbody has a different perception of what is an ideal body is. And I would also like to clarify that wether you are build skinny, curvy, or heavier, it has nothing to do with 'being a woman', your size is not telling you if you are a woman or not, your genes and/or state of mind determine wether you are a woman or not. I want to lose weight for myself, and not for other people or their views.
Okay I think I have talked a lot about my intentions of the weightloss, now on to the methods!

How I am losing weight.
Yes, it might seem like a shock that within 2 weeks I have lost 4 kilos, but to me it all seems rather natural but I could see some people getting concerned about it. Before going in on how I eat now, I would like to give you all some insight on what my 'regular' eating routine used to look like. I used to eat A LOT, but not just healthy things, but I could finish a whole chocolate bar before you could even say chocolate bar haha. Eating sweets and cakes and chips etc always made me feel better, it was tasty, and full of sugar so yeah, why wouldn't it make you happier? The portions of my food were always rather large, so that didn't help much either. As soon as I got borded, I'd started eating, or go to the store to get some snacks. (Number one tip, don't go into a foodstore when you're hungry, you;ll end up buying everything! haha.) Oh and maybe this might be helpfull information, but I'm a vegetarian so I don't eat either meat or fish. (Not to be confused by vegan, I do eat eggs and cheese etc)
So with all this unhealthy food I don't find it too shocking that I'm losing 4 kilos after started eating healthy for 2 weeks. The beginning of weightloss is always very fast, then you'll get stuck on a point, and then slowely you'll lose your goal weight. With the help of my friend Estherbel, who has lost a great amount of weight herself and is currently studying health and foods, I found out about the Eat clean diet. And I would also like to remind you all of the following importance, and I can not stress this enough but In order to lose weight, and maintain your weightloss you have to change your eating pattern and state of mind and not, NOT go on a crash diet. If you go on a crash diet your body will go into starvation mode, absorbing everything that will enter your body, so if you start eating according to your normal eating pattern again you will regain the weight you have lost and it will be even harder to get back to losing weight. So please believe me when I say it is better and a lot healthier for your body just to lose weight by eating healthy, yes it may go a bit slower, but you will maintain the weightloss!
So now onto more of the eat clean diet, I will say, and this might sound somewhat stupid, that I do not know everything about this diet, but I know the essence of it. Which I think is most important. The key essence of this diet is to eat the way mother nature intended, and it also sets on readjusting your way of life regarding eating mostly. If I could sum it all up I would say the following things about it. You need to cut (almost) all the sugars out of your life, cut processed and canned foods, eat things as fresh as you can, such as fresh veggies, and fresh fruits, mind your portions! (also very important). So i did this, I started eating more fresh vegies, more things that are 'wholeweat', like brown instead of white bread, or 'brown' pastas instead of the 'white' pastas, and I started cooking them more healthy and started minding my proportions. I drink A LOT of water, and when I am craving for things that are sweet or unhealthy, I drink tea that is naturally sweeter (I hate tea actually and I can only drink teas that are naturally sweat after letting them sit for a while, and I never drink my tea with sugar) or I eat a nice sweet apple. And now that I have been into the diet for two weeks, it is starting to get a little easier, I still am always craving sweets, and chips and other unhealthy food, but it is slowely getting easier. I spice my food with fresh herbs or flavoured oils that contain no sugar instead of using gallons of salt like I did before. I use minimal salt now, and a great tip I would like to give you is to steam your veggies! It is really healthy and they get their maximum flavour so you would hardly need any other seasoning. I am very fortunate to have a rice cooker/ steam pan, but I heard you can also do this yourself easily with a pan and a 'sif' if that is what you call it, but I bet google has some great tips on that one ^^ So I think I said a lot about my change of food and eating pattern, and I would like to go on to the point I always used to (and still do a little haha) hate, exercising!
I never ever used to exercise, I always hated sports (this probably also has to do with the fact that my knees and back would start hurting instantly) and the only sports I did was snowboarding once a year with my family. So I had to pick up the pace of exercising, and so with all my willpower I did. I got a hometrainer that was just standing on the attic of my grandmothers. It's this sort of bike thing, and I started to 'bike' 4 times a week for half an hour. I'll be honest with you that my knees wouldn't let me tollerate to go on for longer than that, but it is slowely getting better. I also started doing some workouts with the help of youtube, and just tried to be a little more active in daily life, by taking the stairs more often, or biking to my moms house instead of taking the bus. And yes, this is all very boring, but lately I've discovered a very very fun way 'exercising'! My mom recently obtained Just dance 3 for the Wii, and I've been hooked on it ever since! And now some of you might think 'but I don't have a wii so this wouldn't help at all'. Wrong! :D I don't own a Wii either, but basically all of the routines are to be found on Youtube! And so there I am, dancing like a tardy in my own room while watching my computer screen. I'll say it is less fun than actually playing it on the wii, but I will find it very fun nontheless! Here I will show you some of my favorite routines ^^

So those are currently my favorite rountines, and I try to 'play' it for about an hour everyday ^^ Though last friday I got caught up into playing it at my moms place, and I had been playing it for 5 hours straight turning my mom nuts haha.

Random Make-up experimenting~

Hii everyone!

It's been a while, lately I've been very caught up in life again haha, going to school, doing school work, working out, etc etc. I've been trying to lose some weight since the beginning of January and I've already lost 4 kilos and about 2 cm in every part of my measurements, I'm excited and hope that I can keep up dieting and working out to get to a weight that is more healthy for me :)

Today aside from being very busy with school I decided to play a bit with my make-up, I felt that I was stuck with the way I did my make-up and I needed some change. So I went doing my make-up and I am so happy with it! Hence the fact I am now going to spam you with my face haha XD

I'm sorry for the very weird layout of this post, but there is something going on with either blogger of my mom's laptop which just doesnt let me fix this! I'm also for the random face spam, I just couldnt come up with anything that was even the least bit more interesting at the moment, since my mind has drawn a bit blanco u_u
I hope you'll like this 'new' make-up style, I personally love it, and it feels to me that I am now a little step closer to becoming a good gaijin gyaru! :)

Gyaru Discussion // Goth Gyaru?

I would like to start a sort of new line of topics on my blog, Gyaru Discussions. This will mostly about phenomena I see in the gyaru scene, which I would like to hear your opinions on or get into discussion with you :) Therefore I woud like to introduce you to the first topic of discussion!

Goth Gyaru
Disclaimer: I am NOT trying to invent a new subgenre with this post, I'm just looking for the possibilities of it's existing or not.

A while back, the Gyaru page on wikipedia had a big list of all the Gyaru subcultures (which has now been deleted for the most part), under which was one called 'Goth Gyaru'. At first I thought 'well, this sub genre doesn't exist, I've never seen it', or does it? Lately I've taken quite some inspiration from brands such as TutuHA (soon to be Glavil) and Fernopaa. Which led me to the blog of one of my current inspirations Ami/ Amihamu. I've been checking her blog a lot since then, but I've seen her style change quite a bit. At first it had the most rock style influences, but lately I've been seeing it sightly change into something that is tending to take more and more influences from 'Goth'. Here are some photos for comparison.

These might not look like huge changes, and quite frankly, they're not. They're subtle differences but yet to me they start representing a whole different style. For me the most noticable differences are the Make-up, switch to darker wigs, more heavy chained and spiked jewelery, more black and darker colors. At first I was thinking it might have something to do with the change of brand for her, since she switched from being a TutuHA shop staff (@ 'before' pictures) to being a Fernopaa shop staff (@ 'after' pictures). In Japan in most clothing and accesoires shops (especially for gyaru) most shop staff dress completely in the clothes the shop has to offer, trying to inspire the customers to either buy one of the pieces of clothing or to 'adopt' the style. Most of the staff will also adjust their personalities to the brand they are representing, or atleast these are my own observations to when I was in Japan. You could see that different brands had hired people with personalities that either really fitted the brand, or that have been molded to the brand. Well enough of that, but while I was thinking the switch of brands might have been the cause, I was immideatly thinking that it couldn't be. Since I assumed that another shop staff of both Tutuha and Fernopaa, Morimayu, hadn't changed her style. BUT! As I was going through Fernopaa's micro blog snapshot page, I definetly did see a style change in Morimayu's look as well. To me she was always known for her extremely colorfull outfits while she was still in the staff of Tutuha. But now that she has left TutuHA behind and became a staffmember at Fernopaa, I noticed she also started wearing more black, more spikes, but the brightcoloured wigs stayed. (They even turned pink!) I will also scoop up some pictures to show the change in her look.

Allthough now I DO believe that the change of shops/ brands had something to do with it, I feel like Morimayu is less 'goth', whereas Ami now has this 'goth' vibe coming from her. Recently I've also been seeing a lot of post on Ami's blog talking about 'Goth Gene Night' and since my Japanese is far from fluent I don't really know what this exactly is but it does seem like it's a party where all the Fernopaa staff are present, and where Morimayu is DJing? If there is anybody knows more about this event please let me know!

Eventhough I am now mainly focussing on Fernopaa and Ami's style change, the topic of 'goth gyaru' is surely not new to me. A while back there was an Egg model called Nonoka Iwata (Non-chan). I'm not too sure wether or not she is still in Egg magazine since I don't read it much but since I haven't seen too much of her recently, I figured she is not in the picture anymore. Eitherway, she also rose up when there was any discussion about goth gyaru, since she was an Egg model, and she had a very Goth like style, even staying away from the stereotype Gyaru hair that time by having either pitch black straight or white blonde straight hair. (I think that nowadays there are less stereotypes binding gyaru hair but maybe that's a new discussion topic?) I even think that she might have been the very first that even started the controversy on goth gyaru, and wether it was a real thing, or not. Though could see a rather clear difference from when she appeared in Egg magazines and the pictures she posted up on her blog. I think that recently she isn't into gyaru anymore regarding her latests blog photos, so I'm speaking about the 'old' non-chan. I'll show you some pictures of her style for those who might not be know her. I don't have a lot of pictures of her in EGG so most of them are just from google~

As you can see she still had a rather own style in Egg magazine, but as I've been looking through these pictures I've noticed that the people of Egg, eventhough they let her carry out a bit of her own style, still put some 'key elements of gyaru' in there to probably pull it back more to the stereo type of a gyaru and to probably to please the audience, do you see them? I spot a Tan, Big curly hair in the second picture, and some very bright coloured clothes in the 3rd. Whereas in the pictures she puts on her blog, you can really see her sporting a white skin, straight hair and a lot of black clothes (and ear piercings)

So is goth gyaru a real thing? I think I will round this post up as I don't have much more to say, but I would rather hear what you think about it. I've put up the following dicussion questions up for you to think about, or rather comment on! You could either take one of the discussion points or talk about all of them, or non at all!

Does Goth Gyaru exist, or is it just a trend, or are there just a few persons out there with a very personal style coming from gyaru, that are now still called gyaru?
Where do we draw the line in our perception of gyaru, and where is the line between a real substyle and a crossover between styles?
Is it just because these girls are japanese we can still call it gyaru? Or do you think we as western gals could still pull off a look like these while still looking gyaru?
What would be the difference between Rokku and Goth? Or will they more or less still stay the same?
Would you still consider this Gyaru? Or do you think it has been taken to far?
Do you think this is a style that will grow bigger? or is it just a fast season trend to you?
What do you think about 'Goth Gyaru' in general? Do you like the idea, or do you think these girls just look plain horrible?
And last a question for me, do you like these kind of discussion points?

So I think this is pretty much what I was about to say! Even though the first part of the post is mostly an observation and I have not yet ventilated my own opinion about the topic, I thought I'd post it at the bottom here so you can either read or not read it, it is all up to you! But eitherway, here is my opinion on the topic, keeping the questions posted above in mind.

'I personally feel that Goth Gyaru could become a thing, but taking more of the stereotypical gyaru features in consideration. The black eyeliner drops that Ami currently sports aren't personally my thing, and I think they take away from both the 'cuteness' or 'sexyness' that is represented in gyaru fashion. However, I do have the feeling that unless you are a really really great gaijin gyaru, this is a look that will mostly work for the Japanese, not to put anyone here down (I myself included in the part of not so great gaijin gyaru so there), but as long as this is still a very small style, I think it is hard for someone to recognize you as a 'goth gyaru' and not just as a plain goth with a bit too much make-up. Maybe we could carry this look out to a certain degree, but while taking more of the Gyaru stereotypes on. Because frankly, you may dissagree with me or not, Japanese are easily labeled gyaru, no matter what they are wearing. I personally don't feel that if I were to go out in one of Ami's outfits while having my make-up all gal'd out that anyone would recognize me as being a gyaru, mostly because I still lack enough skills to be recognized as a gyaru eitherway. And as you can see there is just a very thin line between what we call Rokku and that what we might call Goth gyaru, maybe 'goth gyaru' is just an exagerated version of rokku. To me, as long as this is still a very small style that is nowhere to be seen in any magazines yet I will see it as that, an exagerated version of rokku, and not a stand alone substyle. I think it is still gyaru in some ways, but to me this is really on the edge. I know that every style evolves, just like gyaru does. But gyaru evolves in so many different ways in such a rapid time that I sometimes have a hard time catching up with what is currently even considered gyaru, but that would be a whole different discussion. In the end, my conclusion would be that this, if growing bigger, could definetly become some sort of sub genre , maybe under another name, who knows. But I also think that you have to be very carefull as a gaijin gyaru with what you can and can't do, it's a line that you have to look for on your own. I think you have to be very aware of the skills you own and the way people view those, there might be some that could definetly get away with it, but some might just get carried away in trying to create too much of an own style while losing sight on the 'gyaru mothership' haha.'

Hey everyone~! <3

I noticed I've been losing some followers, and I don't blame you since I hardly find the time to update ghehe, and it probably won't improve a lot since starting tomorrow I will be getting extremely busy with school u_u So I thought that for now I will just post some random outfits, most are even from last year! (whoops)
I am still struggeling with where I want to go with my style, maybe because I haven't been feeling to comfortable in my body lately. Hence the fact I am trying to lose weight, to maybe regain some more convidence to wear things I would actually really like to wear! The other reason would probably be the cold, rainy and extremely windy days of January. It's hard to dress up during this time since as soon as you go out of the door you'll freeze and the wind will blow everything out of proportion ><
So I will stop the rant and just start posting some pictures! :D

I've been trying to look more gal even without wearing circle lenses, it's a tough job! ><

I've also started to wear false lashes on a more daily basis,
and I actually really enjoy it, it makes me feel prettier haha

Xmas meet-up in Düsseldorf!

Hii everyone!

It is a bit late but I still decided to write about the meetup in Düsseldorf (last year haha). Some german gals organized a big meet-up in Düsseldorf and so me and some fellow HYPER members decided to go there! Düsseldorf is not all that far away from the Dutch borders and Germany has a really large 'Gyaru population', I hope one day the Dutch gyaru scene will be atleast as big as theirs, but we have a really small country and I'm really happy with all the girls (and guys) that are into Gyaru here because we have a really fun group, but it's always nice to see more and new faces! ^^

The day started off with a looong journey, we first met up in Venlo to take the train to Düdo, and for me it was allready about a 3 hour trip to get there, and after that it would still take 1 hour to go to Düdo, but it was worth it! Here are some pictures in the train to Düdo~

When we arrived at the station we could allready see that there was big group waiting for us, and some other people so we said hi to everyone we know, and eventhough it may not always look like it, I'm rather shy and hardly dare to talk to new people, so sorry for those who I haven't talked to, it has nothing to do with arrogance but with pure shyness ><

After we got everyone together we went to a Japanese store where you can take Purikura! I miss Purikura machines so much, we once had one in the netherlands, but that one died unfortunatly, eventhough it allready sucked, but still! Better 1 bad Purikura machine than none at all! Before we entered the store we took a groupshot, oh man there were so many of us! I'm suprised we all fit in one shot haha. Just look at how big that group is! :D

So after that it was ofcourse time fooor, PURIKURA! yaaaay, we took so many and it was sometimes hard to fit everyone into that booth, but it sure as hell was a lot of fun! :D And yes in the first series I had a hard time trying to get above Estherbel and into the shot, so I just started to make stupid faces because I knew I was hardly going to be in them anyway

We took some other Purikura too but I didn't scan them so I can't show you them unfortunatly ^^" Here are some more pictures~

After everybody was done taken Purikura, which ended up to take about 3 hours haha we all went our own way to go for some food ^^, most of the people went to get Japanese food, but our group was fine with just anything! And while we were walking towards the city we passed a mexican place and I immideatly stopped and was like: 'LETS GO HERE, MEXICAN FOOD, YEAH!' and they also had cocktails, do double score! :D

Later one, the rest of the split up group joined us at the cocktailbar and we were transferred to a part of the bar that could seat all of us, even though a lot of gals had allready left, we were still with about 30 people~
We drank some more cocktails and had laughs and jokes with everyone haha

After that it was unfortunatly almost time for us to leave, but ofcourse we couldn't leave without first taking some more pictures with everyone that was still at the cocktailbar!

After that we sadly enough had to go home D: It is always so much fun to be at big meetups, especially while getting to know new people, or chatting up with friends you haven't seen for a while! I really had a blast this meetup, and I hope that we can have more and bigger meetup like this everywhere! :D

So for last I will show you some pictures of my hairmake before I left the house. I'll be honest with you all, I really didn't like the way I looked that day, my hair fell down as soon as I got out of the house, my outfit was rather last minute and it didn't do me any good, and overal I just felt horribly ugly the whole day through u_u I did have a shitload of fun though, so that makes up for all of it and is most important! :D But I really, really have to work on my gyaru skills, and try to suck less at it u_u

Android Purikura Apps!

Hello everyone!
Today I wanted to show you something you might have seen everywhere around you allready, but still I wanted to share this with all of you for those who haven't seen posts like these up yet :)

Ever since I got my HTC Desire I've been looking all over for the best Purikura apps! Unfortunatly, most of the ones I found were only capable for the iPhone. But after a few months a lot more applications became avaiable for phones that run on Android, and ever since I became hooked on them! I'll show you some before and after pictures of all of them! ^^,

First up, and the app I basically always process my photos with is:

Photowonder!
This is the app I often use to edit my photos ^^ This app is great for working on the contrast, adding filters, and you can even add some stamps etc but the stamps aren't that cute .. The app is completly in english and really easy to navigate through

The second app which I fell completely in love with is:

DECO PIC!
This is probably the most complete and most advanced purikura app! It includes the cutest stamps, 'line stamps', frames, filters, pen tools, message stamps etc! :) I have completely fallen head over heels with this app, and the ones of you that have me on FB know so since I use it for almost every single photo I upload haha <3 The only disadvantages are that you can only edit square pictures and that the quality isnt too high~ but since they always keep on coming with new updates I hope that somewhere in the future you can also edit non square pictures :) Here are some screenshots I found on the net~

The screens are in japanese, but the app is all in english! :)

Kira Deco Picture キラデコピクチャ
This is the last app that is good for purikura! Though this one might not be too fortunate for those of who don't understand japanese, but it's really easy to understand! You can add a lot of kira kira stamps and cute frames ^^ The disadvantage would be that there is never an update and the selection is not to big so after a while you've basically done all of it. There are some expansion packs but these will cost you, and since it's in japanese (you have to pay by yen) I don't know if it's avaiable for western android systems. Anyway here to some screenshots of the web!

New wig, small gets and outfit

Hii lovelies! <3

Today I once again have gone shopping with my mom, she needed a new bag so we went to Hilversum to shop, which we had never gone before but they had some cute stores! Luckily for my mom she found a great bag in the first shop haha, but we continued anyway which led to some cute things for me and my little sister ^^,

And here are my gets of the day! Though the lashes came of ebay but they arrived to me the day before and I just love them <3

And I also got a wig! It's a wig that ive seen around a store near my house, and I've been eyeing it for a while but I was too hessitant to buy it~ but today I stumbled upon it again in another store, and I just had to get it :D It was only 10 euros and I was looking for a more everyday wig ^^, But first a sort of 'before and after photo' as you can see the wig had this sort of wetlook effect and it's rather shiny, but I will do everything to get the shine out! In the after pictures I brushed the whole wig out and added powder to it, it didnt help to much but I have some other tricks up my sleeve! ^^ (FACE SPAM!)

So now for the outfit~ the pink cardigan in action! XD And also the new lashes in action in an eyemake shot~

Lately I've also been trying to revamp my blond wig, not the really long one but the slightly shorter one I own ^^ It was always really flat, and I actually wanted it to be huuuuuuuuuuge, but unfortunatly, I don't own those skills ;n; I dont get how I get my own hair to reach to heaven and when I try the same techniques on a wig it stays merely flat ;n; But I did get some more volume in it! But I wish I had a wig sponsor that would get me wigs I could try out on haha <3 The first pictures is how it was, and the second picture is how it is now, no make-up, sorry that too lazy to sensor my face :') It is a little bigger irl, but it's hard to get a good picture of it~ I've spend hours and hours on teasing and then some on curling~!

2012 Goals~

Hello everyone! <3

I hope you all had a great new years eve with lots of fun and all your fingers still in tact of all the fireworks! :D
So for today, the first january of 2012 I noticed a lot of people post things about new years resolutions, but i didnt want to make a post about resolutions, I want to make a post about goals, because I really want to achieve these things, and I will do my best to do so~ (maybe it's just a gap between the dutch and the english language that it actually means the same, but in my head it's different xD)

So on to my goals for 2012!

Lose some weight.
This is the goal I probably have in common with all the women on this planet xD And usually I don't post about this stuff because I know I will just fail. I love food a lot, and especially the wrong kind such as candy and chips and stuff. But the reason I decided to really try this year is mostly because I want to lose a dress size (or two) and hopefully, that my boobs will go down a bra size. This may sound really weird, but there is almost a difference of two dress sizes between my chest and my waist, which causes the fact I hardly ever fit in clothes, and that they just don't fit me and I really want to get rid of this problem. Other than that I also need to exercise more for my health, I have really weak knees/ legs which I need to train in order to not get knee replacements before my 40th xD

Graduate and make and amazing final collection
Obvious goal is obvious :D I am in my graduation year right now, and I really want to put all the effort and time I have into my collection and hope it will turn out smashing. I've never been one of the top notsch of my class, I'd rather say I was always at the bottom of it, but I really want to prove to everyone that I can do this, that this is my passion, and that I live to do this. I want to graduate at once, and I wish for people to be stunned by the collection I will make :)

Get a side job
This is a little harder than it looks, since I am 21 a lot of stores won't hire me because it is just way cheaper to hire a 16 year old, but I won't give up because I want to save up for some things, under which my following goals:

Get my first tattoo machine
I want to try the art of tattooing, it is something I've always been fascinated by the art, I have one myself and hope to obtain more tattoos along the way (but they just cost a lot haha). I'm rather good at drawing, atleast that is what other people tell me, but yet I have to exercise my drawing skills even further. This year I would like to obtain my first tattoo machine, just for testing and practice. I probably won't actually tattoo people this year, mostly cause I just really want to practice (fake skin, fruits, etc). I would love to make a good hobby out of this, which I think would be rather fullfilling

Go to Japan
This is a goal that is still in starting positions, but I plan to go to Japan for a holiday after I gratuaded. But all the circumstances have to be right, I have to graduate and get a job to do my best to go there for a holiday ^^, This time I would probably go to Tokyo, since I've lived in Kyoto for 6 months, it seems like fun to discover more of Tokyo!

Learn (more) Japanese
At this moment, I speak some Japanese, I read hiragana and katakana fluently and there are a very few kanji I can read, but I want to get my Japanese to at least conversation fluent. I want to be able to take the japanese language proficiency test level 3 and succeed. I want to be able to read more japanese blogs and watch tv/ series while understanding them. It will take a lot of work and practice, but since I'm not that bad at languages, I will most likely succeed if I put a lot of effort in it.

Become a better Gyaru/ improve my style
I really want to become better at being a gyaru. Lately I've been trying to dress more gal on daily basis by doing gal make-up (without circle lenses most of the time) and doing my hair better than just brush it~ Other than make-up and hair (which I'm slowely getting the hang of) I really want to improve my style because lately I've just been caught in where I want to go with my style. The styles I like are rather opposing, such as Himegyaru, Agejo, Rokku and Ora Ora. I want to try to find a nice balance between all these styles and figure out what my own personal style is.
Also I want to become more active in the gal community by organizing more events, more meet-ups, and improve together with my gal cir HYPER. I'd also like to make more tutorials about hair and make-up if people would like me to :)

Make a Gyaru Helpdesk
This is an idea that has been floating in my head for quite a while now. I want to try to get a more positive vibe and safe haven in the gal world. I want to set-up a helpdesk starting out on my blog. I want people that are new to gyaru, or that just have questions, but who are afraid of getting bashed on for example the gyaru_secrets, to be able to contact me with questions on a certain email adress. I will ask if I can publish the questions and awnsers on my blog (under an anonymous name if they'd feel more comfortable with that) so that other gals can see what some people are struggling with and maybe even comment with more advise :) I am not the best gyaru at all, but I've been around for quite a while to know what could help people if I may say so myself xD Maybe this is something that will grow bigger, and that we'll have more 'consultants' and that maybe it will grow to have it's own site~! If you've read this post untill here, I would love to hear what you think about this! Please comment below if you think that this could become something great, and then I will work it out in my head and probably start it! :)

Visit more Partys
This might sound funny, but I hardly ever go to partys! Let's say that in 2011 I went to 3 partys during the whole year, but I've grown very fond of them! I love having fun and dancing with my friends till dawn hahaha, so I will try to visit more partys every now and then :D

Okay, so on newyears day I wanted to make a small xmas post, since it would be rather weird to have a xmas post in new year haha!

My christmas wasn't neccesairily very special, but a lot of fun eitherway! :) On the first day of christmas our lovely neighbour invited my mom and me and sisters to her family party ^^ We had a lot of good food that everybody brought together and I ate so much of the small snacks that I almost exploded! Oh and as you may have seen in a previous post, I was dressed as a reindeer! :D (Though in the beginning of the morning my outfit was ever changing XD)

Hello everybody!
It is almost christmas, how is everybody doing? :) Making cookies, buying presents, decorating your room? About a week ago Suzu asked me to do a little room tour after I posted a picture of my 'bedroom' on facebook ^^, So I thought, why not? :D My room is now nicely decorated with christmas things, and I thought I'd give you all a small impression of what my room looks like, because I remember that I promised to post pictures of it when I moved out haha, it's about half a year later and still I haven't found the time or will to make the pictures. Mostly also because my room wasn't quite how I wanted it to be yet, but it's slowely getting there! A little information beforehand, I live on my own, the room is not too big but it is really high (4 meters) and that means I have a small balcony in my room where my bed is. I will stop talking now and show you all the pictures!

Florence and the machine at Chanel

I just really wanted to share this with you all, eventhough it might be a little outdated. I love Florence and the machine and Chanel has always been one of my favorite brands, so this is such a wonderful and inspiring combination. Florence has such an amazing and powerfull voice which dazzles me all the time. Her new album has been on repeat for weeks now on my phone, and I just can't stop listening to it. Really, if there would be any voice I could have I wish it was one as graceful as her's. I saw her live at lowlands back in 2009, and I even got her to sign my album, and when I was right in front of her I was just stunned so all I could do was smile like an idiot and give her the album, she was really sweet though :) So therefore I just wanted to share this video that I can not get out of my head haha <3

A. Oh lordy, I usually either don't blog, or think of things people might like to see, or I go browse through blogs to get some inspiration :)

A. I don't have a job because I am styll studying, which is really time consuming, and the most jobs that you could get on a saturday are for people around the year of 16, most of them dont hire me since im too old u_u

A. Ehhmm, that's a hard one, is popcorn a good awnser? XD

A. I usually go online shopping on ebay to get cheap things, but for clothes I always go to the stores because I dont have a very confenient size u_u

A. I have 3 younger sisters! aging 19, 8 and 6 :) My 'oldest' sister has been posted on this blog a few time, I guess she likes it but she doesn't really care :p

Q. What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?

A. I couldn't think of anything that is embarassing and yet something I'd like to share xD What is always embarassing for me though is that I am really bad with names, and often talk to people and get their name wrong, I usually feel extremely embarrassed at those moments u_u

A. My cat, without a single doubt. I wouldn't know what to do without her.

Q. Which country would you like to visit the most?

A. I would love to go back to Japan, but aside from that I would love to visit america! I would also like to visit Russia and Israel with my friends :)

Christmas market visit in Germany~

Hii everyone!

Lately I've been stressing like crazy over school, so yesterday my grandparents took me and my mom to a small christmasmarket in Bochelt Germany :) They did some research on christmasmarkets in germany close to the dutch border, and firstly they wanted to go to Kleve, but unfortunatly that market was allready over, so we went to Bochelt, where neither of us had ever been ^^
I tried to look nice that day, but since the weather is so horribly windy everything will get blown out of proportion and you'll end up looking like crap again xD But atleast I tried, that's what counts! So here's my outfit and hairmake; Without circle lenses because that always scares my mom and grandmother haha

Here are some impressions of the christmas market! We were mostly there during the day so the lights didn't look as festive as they might have looked during nightfall. And to be honest the whole market was a little dissapointing because there were hardly any stands and it was very devided. I once went to a christmas market in Köln with my school, and that was amazing! So maybe I just still have that image lingering on in my head haha. But we had a lot of fun eitherway~! :D

After a while we had a seat at a nice coffee/ icecream place and here are the delicious treats I got! :D

The coffee came with an adorable small icecream cone! :D And I got Tiramisu, but it was so big I had to share it with my mom, grandmother and grandpa because I was never able to finish it alone xD

I also found the most awesome belts in germany, they reminded me so much of d.i.a belts but excluding the chains! Unfortunatly they were 20 euros, and that's too much for me :p I really wanted one of the leopard ones though u_u (click to enlarge)

And now on to what I actually got that day, an early birthday present from my grandma! :D I walked passed a shoestore, saw these and imideadtly fell in love, these are amazing and just what I was looking for! But since I unfortunatly have a little too much month left at the end of my money, my grandmother asked me if I wanted them for my birthday, and I did not have to think twice, because I just love them so much! <3

I also scored a pretzel and vanilla cola! :D They dont sell it in the Netherlands anymore ;n; so when I saw these 2 bottles I instantly carried them around as my babies xD

This is a whole different kind of post, but this kind of weather always makes me want to bake all kinds of things, and just sit down on the couch with a group of friend and eat and drink nice things hahaha, so I just wanted to share some adorable and delicious food photos with you! Because aside from my extra cravings for food around this time of the year, the whole world starts overconsuming in december! So how great would it be if you could comibine the two things, food and presents? Just bake your loved ones something ^^, Anyway, on to some delicious photos!

Lazy Sunday~ Make-up time!

Hii Everybody! <3

So today is kind of a lazy sunday for me, I did the things I had to do, like cleaning my room, learning some japanese and working on school stuff etc, and I got a bit bored because the weather is so damn dull! It's raining pretty much every day which puts me in a really bad mood unfortunatly :c So I decided to work on my make-up skills and started slapping some smack on my face! And I wanted to share them with you :)

And a bit of hairmake! :)

And here is my first 'christmas decoration' in my room haha, I bought a little string of lights and added them with the flowers on my stairs! :) I love them, I cant wait to get more lights!

And yesterday I went to my grandmother's to make a traditional dutch candy called 'Borstplaat'. It's really tasty! Basically it's cream with sugar and some added flavour ^^, it's traditional for the dutch 'holiday' Sinterklaas, which is a whole different story, which most people don't understand :p but I'm going to celebrate it tomorrow, so I'll tell you more about it then! ^^ Would anyone like me to make a recipe? :D

Hii everyone!

Today I was walking in a dutch store called 'De Bijenkorf' I usually never go there, but one of the girls from my project group wanted to check out the christmas ornaments, and since I hate christmas, but love the decorations, I went in as well. And I was overwhelmed! Such adoooorable things, I just had to snap a photo of everything and share them with you ^^, I love how during the december months the cities are covered with adorable lights, it makes me rather happy, so you will probably see more posts from me, and I will soon decorate my own house a little as well!

Small Ma*rs print nail art tutorial

Hii everybody!

I'm reaaaallly busy and hardly spend time behind my computer because there is just so much I want to, and can do so my computer is not really appealing atm xD (can you imagine I'd ever say that? haha)

Anyway, recently I made some time to do my nails, and I wanted to share this small and crappy tutorial with you in the hopes you'll like it! ^^,

What you will need!

Nail hardener (Optional)
White Nailpolish
Black Nailpolish
Bright Pink Nailpolish
A small nail art brush
Topcoat
PATIENCE!

Yes! This tutorial is as easy as it looks, or if you think it's hard, it's easier than it looks! So here we go!

Step one //
Apply your nail hardener or base coat.
Paint your nails white and make sure it's a good solid color, it might take 2 or 3 layers, as long as you make sure it's dried up! That is very important, because if your nails aren't dry yet you'll ruin everything

Step two //Paint on zebra stripes with your black nail polish, take your small nail art brush for this, or just take a painting brush with a small tip, works as well! I had a reference picture of the zebra stripes next to me, and just paint them on the way you like! (I made them a bit sloppy XD)

Step 3 //Take your pink nail polish and put a big dot on your nail where ever you'd like to place your rose. Wait for it to dry a little bit, but then take your small nail art brush, and with white nailpolish, draw in circular motions in the pink dot to create a leaf like idea. This is probably the hardest step and it takes a lot of practice to draw the roses, this was my first time too!

Step 4 //Wait for everything to dry (very important) And top it of with a shiny topcoat! (Or matt, whichever you prefer) And there you have your Ma*rs print nails!

Optionals:
Add green leafs if you own green nailpolish!
Add some nice glitter to the roses if you'd like!

See! It is really as easy as it looks ^^, I hope you liked this, and I hope you might try it out! This will ofcourse work better on longer nails xD! Would you like to see me do more tutorials like this, or do you think: 'no way this looks like crap, cut it out!'

Sponge hair curlers!

Hii everyone! I am so incredibly sorry for the extreme lack of updates u_u I've been damn busy and I hope I can make it up to all of you with a recommendation :)

A few weeks ago I have ordered sponge curlers from Ebay, because I wanted to try and curl my hair on a daily basis without having to use any heat, or putting a lot of effort in it , I am a very lazy human being you know that?
So anyway a few days ago they arrived and I just had to try them out!

Here you can see the product and the instructions on the back, although it is all in Japanese the instructions are very clear and they are extremely easy to use! ^^,

So what I did, was I jumped into the shower, and when I was done I made sure my hair was 'towel dry', and I started rolling them in. This was all in the evening so that means I slept with these curlers on my head. I've slept with curlers on my head before, but these were definetly not as uncomfortable to sleep in as my others, but maybe that is just relative haha.

So yeah, left you can see them rolled in before I went to bed, Hello Kitty PJ's! lol how sexy~
And the right picture is whe I had just rolled them out and combed through them ^^

As you might see they give a really sweet and natural curl, very flowy and in my opinion very natural! (just like my make-up in these pictures, sorry guys for my everyday face xD) The curls stayed in really long with my hair! And this is how they actually looked at the end of the day; (Weird overlit pictures, I am fully aware xD) but they got even more curly, which was weird :P but to me they still looked like a natural curl ^^,

So I would definetly recommend you these type of curlers if you'd like to have more curly hair during weekdays ^^, it takes 5 minutes to roll them in before bedtime, and they don't damage your hair like curling or straightning irons :) I payed about 2,50€ for them, about 4 dollars? I can't remember but just search for 'sponge hair rollers/ curlers' on ebay and you should find your best match! :D I Initially found them cheaper but they did not send to holland u_u

Hiii Everyone~! <3

I was a bit too busy the last few days but on saturday was HYPER's meet-up in Leiden, at the Japanmuseum for a Hello Kitty exhibition ^^, It was a really fun day! The exhibition itself wasn't too impressive to be honest, it was mostly a collection of Hello Kitty items, I'd say my room is the same haha! After spending some time at the exhibition the group split up, a few of us went to get some food, and the rest went to a reading on what I believe was the Kawaii Culture, for more about this please check Velvetbat's post ^^,

I'll go on to some pictures, because ofcourse that is always the most fun of a meetup post! XD

First, I shall spam my own face to you, I wore my new wig to this meet-up! And the outfit was inspired by Ami, from Fernopaa, I love her style :3

Okay, so here I am 30 minutes before I have to leave for school but I really wanted to make a quick non sponsored review post :p So here it goes!

So recentely I have made pin on shoe wings! Yes, they are inspired by the Jeremy scott x Adidas collection, but i made the design myself and they go on way different shoes :p Here they are!

I have decided to wear these again because I recently have gotten very bad aches in my
knees hips and back again, so I wanted to wear some more solid shoes .

And here is a small question for you guys, which of these do you think suits me better for my 'gyaru apperance', brown or light lenses? Same hair, make-up etc, just different lenses ^^'

Introducing: Fernopaa フェルノパ～!

Hello Everybody!
Today I stumbled upon a 'new' brand, Fernopaa フェルノパ~ ! I don't know a lot about this brand yet, but I have the feeling it is pretty new one. Seeing the blog posts it seems that this brand store has been opened on the 17th of september, in Alta, Shinjuku, on the 5th floor! My Japanese is not too well though so I might be mistaken, but still I like to share this 'news' with you :)

It is a brand that resembles the brand most of us know, TutuHA, a lot! And aside from that, the current shop staff contains some familiar faces too! Let me introduce them to you!

First up is Morimayu! Who most of us know from her colourful and playful coords, her extremely poofy hair and ofcourse as a TutuHA lover! For those of you who are interested in the rest of her style, please check out her blog!

And if I am not mistaken the next girl is U-chan, I personally dont know too much about her, but I think she looks adorable! She brings somewhat more 'adult' version of this brand forward to my opinion ^^, If you like her style, please check her blog here!

And last but definetly not least, my personal favorite: Ami! I've been in love with her style since someone first posted a picture of her on Tumblr, as a new TutuHA shop-staff, but I couldn't ever find her blog. But it seems that me looking for it today again was very fruitful, 'cause so I have discovered Fernopaa!
I love Ami's coords and her long wigs, hence the fact I have recently purchased one myself from which I hope it will arrive very soon! For those of you who adore her style as much as I do, please check her blog over here!

Japantag~!

Is everybody tired of the Japantag posts yet? ;D Mine is a bit late but I'm really busy and even now I don't actually really have the time to blog but else I keep procastinating, so therefore I will just give a quick summary and just a shitload of photos ^^'

I went to Dusseldorf on Friday to stay at a hotel with some friends and 2 HYPER members Juu and Elise ^^ It was such a fun experience and I'm glad I got invited by them to come along in the hotel <3
So on saturday was the actual Japantag! We decided to meet up with some german gals around 13:00 at the mainstation. at 12:00 Sascha picked Juu and me up and we drove there in his very fast car xD We had been waiting at the station for quite a while, and unfortunatly not a lot of people showed up, but I'm really glad with the gals that did came! We ended up with Kitai (+friend), Lisa, Jasmin and Jelly (+friend) ^^, Jelly and her friend decided to get some food and it was the plan to meet up later but unfortunatly our paths did not cross again, she did look gorgeous with her new haircolour though! <3

Together with the rest we went to the Japantag event place~ I was so incredibly happy with the weather! It was absolutely gorgeous! We sat along the riverside for a while, when a part of the group decided they wanted to go back to the station for some food. But Juu and I weren't too hungry and so we decided to stay and wait for Charlotte! We waited around for quite a bit but I was happy we all found eachother in the end <3 One of the things that happend throughout the whole day was that we were stopped for pictures! We couldn't walk for 5 seconds without having to pose for 15 minutes haha, it got even worse when we all got together! There was no actual space to walk anymore haha.

In the night there was fireworks, which was absolutely amazing! I was stunned by how pretty it was, and I had expected the crowd to go wild, but apperantly most german people only got annoyed by our excitement haha.
After all of this I was absolutely deadtired~ So we decided to go back to the hotel, and as soon as my head hit the pillow I fell asleep, same goes for Juu xD

And now, on to the most important thing: Pictuuuuuuuures!

Quick Update // Changed my haircolour!

Aaaaaaaaah my head is on fire! haha no not really~ But afters having dark brown hair for the last few years I decided I wanted a change, even if it's just for a little while ^^, Many of you might have seen it on my facebook allready, but I wanted to show it here nontheless!

I know, one of my lashes is coming off but I am waaaay too lazy to photoshop the pictures xD It didn't turn out the way I wanted to, I wished it was more vivid u_u but maybe, in a few weeks I will go BRIGHT red! XD

Gyaru Improvement Meme!

And now on to something really revealing! Lizzie has made a gyaru improvement meme some months back, and I thought it would be pretty cool to use it, to show all of you of what a horrible 'gyaru' I was xD I first want to fill you up on some background information~

For years I have been into Lolita fashion, and during 2009 my interest towards Himegyaru slowely started growing, so this is where I started off! I think a lot of lolitas start liking gyaru through himegyaru, but some stay in the himegyaru sector, and some grow on, like I did! I would like to show you the progress I've made. To be honest I am embarassed about most of these photos, and I don't know how chronological they are~ but I needed to come clean and show I sucked for AT LEAST 1,5 years~ I have never thought of myself as a Gyaru, and to be honest, I still don't see myself as one, I still have a lot to improve on. Now that you have seen the pictures, you can see that I sucked for such a long time, and personally, I think I still suck xD But I think I slowely started to get the hang of it during march/ april 2011 xD I still have a long way to go before I can think of myself as a gyaru~

Ageha Oct'11 ~ Looking for winter!

The new Ageha has been put up for download a few days ago! And as some of you know, the Ageha is like my gal bible and I absolutely love it, it is by far my favorite magazine. But the last few months I have been waiting for them to give their view on the current winter trends and outfits~ Because to be honest, I'm not a big fan of the current autumn trend, because it just resembles the current western fashion too much, it's not my taste by far.

So I waited for the Ageha to give their sexy vision on the A/W trends! But unfortunatly I think I have to wait another month because this Ageha wasn't overwhelming winter~ But I did spot these things!

A few days ago I went to the Sephora, first time with Juul, but it was soooo incredibly crowded that I just started to polish my nails and wait from the side~ Because I was actually I was going there for the 'shaping disk' that I wanted, usually it's about 20 euros but at this time of year the shop that carries Sephora has a sale where you get 3 items for 10 euros, so i thought that this would be my time to go and get it! (I've been wanting it since I saw it in Paris!) But then they said it was sold out but that they would restock everyday. So I went back 2 days later just to get the message 'Sorry it is completly sold out, too bad!' So surely I was sad about it and decided to just buy a contouring palette of ebay xD I did get some other pretties I would like to share with you though!

These 2 are beautifully pigmented, but I just cant seem to capture it on camera! Beautiful deep colours <3

And finally the gold nailpolish I've been looking for for aaaages! I've been looking for this really tacky gold, and I'm glad I found it! And look, I stopped nailbiting! :) My nails have never been this long before!

Hiii everyone~! Sorry for neglecting my blog so much but damn school and life are keeping my busy ;n; and honestly, lately I don't really know what to post anymore u.u Aaaaaaanyway, first things first:
I have a new layout and I'm happy with iiiiiiiit! What do you think about it ? :D I really like it ^^,

And now back to the topic of the daaaaay, Saturday we celebrated Charlie's and Juu's birthdays! Unfortunatly we were the only 3 people that were able to make it but still we had a shitload of fun and some quality time! <3
And ofcourse, our party just wasn't a party without: MUSTACHES!

So we had a lot of delicious food, I made a birthday cake and there were nachos with dips and all kinds of tastyness! But since our dear Charlie was too busy with cleaning her house from the party before this one, she couldn't find the time to do her hair .. so I thought it would be fun if I'd give it a go! :D And I also did Juu's hair because she said her hair could not be styled the way we do and she said to us good luck, from this day on we are still trying to look for somebody that can prove us wrong regarding our hairmake skills u_u

Aren't they adoreable? <3 I think I could've done a better job if I had more time~ but I think it turned out cute! :)

Some Random Outfits~

Lately I have decided to try and put some more efforts in my daily coordinates cause I'm just such a lazy bastard. I assume that when school starts I'll make some more effort again, but I don't really have anything to do yet so I hardly leave the house, so why dress up when you don't leave the house? :') See how lazy I am?
Anyhow here are just a few coordinates that I want to share with you all :)

And I've been trying to do some cut crease make-up, and it looks mighty fine in real life, but I just can't take a decent picture of it, but I tired~

And lately I've also been trying to grow my nails and paint them in nice different shades and patterns. I'm the worst nail biter in the world, I even bite of my acrylics, but now I'm determained to stop biting my nails! I want nice long nails that I can paint in awesome colours ;n; But this is what I did the last few times;

Handmade D.I.A Inspired belts~

So lately I've been crafting some of my own D.I.A belts~ I absolutely adore their belts but they are really expensive and I'm probably way to big for them, so I thought; Adding some golden chains to a belt, how hard could it be? Well, not hard at all xD

I've figured these belts really make the outfit, if you wear an awesome belt like this your outfit instantly gaines more awesomeness. So therefore, I decided to make some myself!

I've now transformed it tooooo; THIS!

I'm so in love with this one and I'm so happy that I finally made it! After making this one, I had decided to make another one! This time, in silver, because gold doesn't always work in outfits~

I really love both of my belts and really, it was damn easy to make, everyone can do this xD No need to spend 200 euros, woohooo! XD

Gyaru Challenge // Gyaru-o

First of all I want to apologize for slacking so much on the Gyaru Challenge, I've been so busy with the fashion show for the Abunai, but now that it's over, I have some more time for the GC!

This time I was challenge by Juu to try out Gyaru-o! She proves to look amazing in Gyaru-o even though she's a girl, it suits her so well! This challenge was a bit hard for me because I have a very 'curved' body, and didn't know how to make my face look even remotely manly, but I still gave it a try! I went for a more Host/ Rock look because that is the only Gyaru-o style that appeals to me~ Here are some samples! (taken from the host heaven tumblr)

So now for my try to look like a sexy male! xD

I tried to do a straight down suji, which has proven to be very hard for me to do. In these pictures I pinned away half of my hair towards to back to make it appear shorter. But my hair is too long/ heavy to keep up such a hairdo, which was pretty unfortunate~ If I would've pinned it up and teased it more it wouldve look shorter but also much rounder, and I think that wouldnt really suit a boy style~ I tried wearing loose fitting clothes to 'hide' my curves, but they're not too hideable .. I did really enjoy trying this style! But I'll let Juu do the job and be amazing in boystyle!

Shopping Gets~

Hello everybody!

Yesterday I went out on a pretty spontaneous shopping trip with my mom, we went to the Primark! In the Netherlands we only have 2 of them, one in Rotterdam and one in Hoofddorp. I really hope they will open one somewhere in Utrecht pretty soon, because everytime we want to go to the Primark we have to travel for at least an hour, booh :<

Too be honest the Primark was pretty dissapointing this time, but I am sure that everybody who loves mode gal and it's autumn/ winter look would love the primark atm. Everything looked like recent Emoda/ Murua pieces, lots of colourblocks, wide blouses in mustard, antique green, retro orange, deep bright purple, long ankle length skirts, jewellery with feathers, birds and other stuff, etc etc. I'm personally not a fan of mode gal, to me it just takes too much inspiration of the west, and is pretty in sync with the western fashion, I personally think its rather boring~ but hey, thats me.

Ofcourse, I did find some awesome things in the Primark, which I would like to share with you!

First, these pair of lovely shoes <3 I was doubting

so long about these that eventually my mom said:

DAMNIT ROX, just take the shoes or you'll regret it!

And I love them <3

I love these shoes as well, they were only 9€!
I instantly wore them, hence the toemarks ...

2 Belts, the first one I transfered to a D.I.A belt, on which I will report

later on in another blogpost :) And the second one is just cute~

2 not so exciting things, but very useful~ A new foundation brush and

some gold hairpins (I always lose those in my hair xD)

And now for something I didn't get at the primark, but at the newyorker;

I love this one so much but never had

the money for it, and now it was only

5 euros! Damn straight I needed to buy it

So those were my shoppings of the day~ I loooove my new shoes, I basically love all my new stuff <3 My mom also treated me on some nice dinners, but before we hit the Primark, she got us applecake with coffee <3

And at the Abunai I got questions whether I looked like this (Gyaru) everyday~ And well, I don't xD On plain days I look casual and boring, and so I decided to take a picture of what I looked like that day. My hair isnt done, I'm not wearing too much make-up, and my outfits are boring, so here is the proof for you :p I definetly look way better with all that make-up on my face xD

Today I went in and out of some stores with Charlie, we were actually just going to the supermarket, but then we got distracted by some cool shops! So I sneakily took some pictures for you all to show some of the awesome things I found!

Some of these jackets will work great for Amekaji I think ^^

These 2 tops had a great D.I.A. feeling for me~

And some more great finds! I loooove the dress with the transsparant leopard bows and those 3 belts are definetly going on my wishlist!

These things definetly look great for the fall trend that's upcoming in the gal world. I see a lot of ethnic / mode themed items in the shops atm, these pictures were taken in the Bershka

And these outfits were too cute for words! I love the schoolgirl vibe of these outfits! <3

BBQ with HYPER

Last week I had a small BBQ at my place with some of my HYPER gals :) Charlotte, Josephine, Velvetbat and Reiko came over to my house and brought some tasty snacks along ^^, We had very fortunate weather, but unfortunatly for me, I'm not the best firestarter, so the actual BBQ didn't work too well xD

Believe it or not, but this is my 100th blogpost! and at this very moment I have 486 followers, and I want to thank each and everyone of you so much for keeping up with my blogging!

So, to celebrate my 100th blogpost, I decided to finish up my make-up tutorial video, I really hope you all like it, I look like crap in the video I'm aware of that, but I hope this can be helpfull to some gaijin gyarus ^^,

And I made some pictures ofc xD This is the finished look of the tutorial :)

Outfit post~

Last Sunday I met up with Charlie and later on with some friends of ours that visited the Dir en Grey concert. Charlie and I didn't go there mostly because it's not really our music scene (anymore) so we went for fun and friends ! :)

Here's my outfit of that day, tried to go for a sort or Rock / Ora ora look, but I looked more like axl rose haha

Charlie and I went and met up earlier to discuss the lecture for the abunai, oh man there is still so much left to do! I need to finish my dress for the day itself, lol finish? I need to start it! Tomorrow I will start it, I hope u_u

We went to the Hema and finally had the tea for two we had wanted to do for ages, but it wasn't too exciting, but really tasty xD But we ended up wanting more sweetness so it's probably a good marketing trick xD

Gyaru Challenge // Sakurina Rockstyle

I haven't been updating on the Gyaru challenge for quite a while now and I'm sorry! u_u I've been a bit too busy to take the time and dress up properly. But today I made some time and gave Sakurina's rockstyle a go!

The most know Sakurina as and Agemo that has developed a particular rockstyle, that combines cute, sexy and rock at the same time. Her make-up style has always been an inspiration for me, even though the last few years the shape stayed the same, she is still one of the gals that works the really dark and heavy make-up style whereas nowadays a lot of gals have a bit lighter eyemake. This challenge was quite hard for me, because most of the outfits she wears are rather easy to pull off for HER. But me, I could start looking like a typical goth chick because of my western features. Besides that I hardly have any items in my wardrobe that could make this look work for me, but I did my best, and I hope you'll like it!

For this challenge, I called in the help of my blonde wig! I always feel so weird wearing it xD

For the first outfit I tried a cute x rock style that leans a bit towards the Tutuha fashion I often see her wearing in the Ageha.

And for the second outfit I tried to go for a sexy x rock style outfit

To keep my blog a bit more alive i decided to update of a very casual outfit~

Very casual outfit, didn't do my hair or anything, but regardless of the fact I keep trying to dress summer-ish, to try and get the sun here, my efforts are useless u_u it keeps raining and raining, and i think this whole summer the sun has only shined for 4 or 5 days xD Makes me pretty sad because I really want the summer back ..

And now on to some gets of today!

This is my favorite get of the day! When I was in my local drugstore today, they had these amazing curly ponytail clips for only 5 euros a piece! I've been wanting 2 of these for, well, forever! But they were always 15 euros a piece, so if I wanted 2, it would cost me 30 euros, and I was never THAT commited to buy them xD So now they only cost me 10 euros in total! I'm a saleshunter for life xD

And these cute clips, couldn't resist them!

And a black shirt with a big turtle neck! I've read somewhere that apperantly big turtlenecks are coming in fashion, and other then that I think I saw a top that looked a bit like this at D.I.A., so i needed to have it basically .

So, for all my purchases of today I spend a grand total of only 12,25. I love going into cheap shops, even though a lot of people don't really want to go there because of their 'reputation' or that they feel too good to walk around and their clothes, a lot of the clothes I own are from the really really cheap stores xD

New Nails

Today I went to the beach with my Mom, my sisters and some neighbours and I decided to give myself some new acrylics. Now that ive finished my internship they're easier to handle because i dont have to do a lot of sewing and handwork anymore xD But ill never do my nails at the beach again because it was pretty hard since everything dried up really fast, the nailpolish, the acrylics etc. So thats why they havent turned out that good, but I think they look rather nice :) So what do you think?

And my very casual beachoutfit, this was mostly to try out a place to take outfit shots xD I need some good space to do it :')

Short post is short, but tomorrow ill start my makeup tutorial!

International Gyaru Meeting

Last weekend there was an International Gyaru meeting here in the netherlands, which I love because it is amazing to meet people from all over the world~! This time most of the visitors came from sweden and norway and someone from germany. I hope that in the future there will be an event somewhere, somehow where I can meet so many gals from so many different countries, that would be amazing!

So first we had SATURDAY! Where we went to Amsterdam to meet up at the station, where the group would split in 2. My group went for some shopping and some food, and the other group went to the sexmuseum, later up we would meet again, then split again, and then meet again in the end to eat at the wagamama, then split again after that to go out for some party. That's basically how the day went down, so I will mostly bore you with pictures :D

First off, my hairmake, because im lacking proper pictures of my outfit/ make-up etc xD

This year HYPER did a theme outfit where everybody had 2 big bows in different colours ^^,

Here is the first groupshot! We almost had all of HYPER together, but unfortunatly Josephine was ill and she couldn't make it ;n; But in this picture you do see a lot of new members! Let me introduce them to you! From left to right: Estherbel, Kari, Velvetbat, Reiko, Me, Jessica and Marije. And Charlotte and Juul (who became a member of our circle that day! :D) are holding the flag! I made the flag and the fans to promote our circle, i love them xD

And ofcourse, it was raining so we couldn't really make a proper groupshot, so everyone is cramped together under a small roof and its shadowy, BUT, it is a groupshot with everyone :D

Later in the evening we decided to go out, we first wanted to go to a 90's now party, but then we decided to drag Juul, Sascha, Imke and Max out of their hotel and we went to a bar that was around the corner and danced the night away xD

I don't have much pictures of the next day, but we basically had a great breakfast and Charlie's place, and lateron her mom took us to cute lounge near the sea. Unfortunatly it was very windy, because sometimes i love walking over the beach and stuff, but we were literally blown away hahaha. After that we met up with the group of international gals for some Pizza! Then our ways parted and we all went home.

I was pretty sad it was over because I love having my girls around and having fun like this. I definetly miss it, but now I have vacation, i have more time to meetup with everybody and have fun! <3
